HOW TO SEND BLOOD SAMPLES

Please send blood samples in a 2cc or larger serum (red top) vial, or in K2‐EDTA, K3‐EDTA, or Li‐heparin plasma vials. For longer transport a serum tube is preferred. In room temperature, sample stability is at least 3 days and refrigeration prolongs it to 10 days. Centrifuging the vial before sending is not mandatory.
